Amy DuFour, MBA, MS
Benefits Planner
As a Benefits Planner, Amy spends much of her day corresponding with attorneys, answering their questions, processing applications, and compiling planning letters. In doing so, she assists attorneys who are working with senior clients in the Medicaid planning process and provides meaningful insurance solutions to help seniors in crisis situations.
Amy has her bachelor’s degree in Integrative Leadership Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, her master’s in Human Service Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and her Master of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University. She has prior experience determining Medicaid eligibility at the county level as well as assisting nursing home residents with Medicaid applications. With this experience, she has a strong understanding of the Medicaid application process and how it can benefit seniors who require long-term care.
Amy is dependable and responsible and is always driven by honesty and integrity in her job. She is also passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals, especially those who are facing a long-term care stay.
In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as their pets. In the summer, she likes to spend time outside, swimming, boating, fishing, and gardening. In the winter, she enjoys indoor activities, such as shopping, reading, and catching up on the latest Netflix shows.
